VEREMA considers Luis Cañas as the Spanish Wine Cellar with the Best Track Record

USERS OF VEREMA GAVE THE WINERY THEIR VOTE

A poll of users of Verema voted Bodegas Luis Cañas the distinction of being the Wine Cellar with the Best Track Record in the prizes they award each year to the most outstanding wines, wineries and personalities.
A prize which recognizes the spectacular evolution the wine cellar has undergone in recent years, since it has been the family’s way of life for generations, growing from a winery producing young red cosechero wines to one of the benchmarks in Spain, thanks to its great aged wines.
Today, present in over 45 countries, it has won major awards, unbeatable reviews from the most respected specialist press, and has broadened its horizons with a new cellar in the Rioja Alavesa (Bodegas Amaren) which Juan Luis Cañas set up as a homage to his mother. At the present time, moreover, the group is expanding with a cellar in Ribera del Duero (Dominio de Cair). This all springs from the passion, hard work and a philosophy based on maximum quality and, as Juan Luis Cañas stresses, “The most important things is not the financial profit but rather for us to feel proud of our work, to know that we can still improve and to give our customers unforgettable moments of joy, and of course, to see how emotional my father feels when he sees the results of all the hard work he put into the business together with my mother”
The Cañas family is even more proud to receive this award knowing that it was decided by discerning wine lovers.
The prize was presented to José Miguel Zubia, Sales Manager of Familia Luis Cañas by Juan Such, co-founder and director of Verema.
